To Those Who (Unplugged Version)

This song really comes from the heart
I'm going to try to get through it
Without crying
I would tell you
His kindness
Of the quiet way he came
Not with thunder, not
With fire
But he gently spoke my name
I would tell you of his mercy
How he saw me my shame
And though
I tried to hide my face
He stayed and loved me just the same
I would tell you how he waited when
I cursed him in my pride
How he bore my every burden
How he stayed right by my side
