Up Shit Creek Without A Paddle

Woke up this morning, a cloud over my head
All the dread.
Looked out the window, saw trouble instead
Trouble come down.
Bills piled high like mountains to climb
So much now.
Lost my way somewhere, ran out of time
Lord, I’m up s*it creek without a paddle, you see
No way out.
Current dragging me down, just
Marley and me
So stuck now.
No hand reaching out, no light in the dark
Lost my spark.
Just the silence around me, here in the dark spot
Tried every pathway, every door
I could find
Locked up tight.
