No One Wins This War

Snorts
You saw the war
On your phone
Thought it was far
Not your home.
Names on a screen
Maps turning red
Somebody speaks, somebody's dead.
They tell you, "Go, defend the line
They give you boots, they take
Your time.
A drone in the sky, a
Flash in the night.
Nobody knows who
Started the fight.
No one wins this war
No one wins at all
Another mother waits
Another soldier falls
No one wins this war
