We Wished To Be 80S

The dust pulls down a velvet blue cascade
On golden dreams that we so carefully made
I walk the halls where your sweet
Laughter stay
And watch the colors of the evening fade
The distant horizon
Holds your quiet grace
No wave of time
Could ever take your place
I close my eyes
And reach out through the air
I feel the sacred space
We used to share
We wish to be two stars against the night.
Burning so clear, endlessly bright.
Bound by a promise written on the sea
Just everything we wish to be
A silver ribbon traces through the dark
Where every whisper left a glowing spark
