Now You're Gone

Your coffee mug is sitting on the stand
I close my eyes and reach to hold your hand
The sweater that you left upon the chair
Still carries traces of your golden hair
I walk around the places where we grew
And everywhere
I look reminds of you
The silence here is getting way too loud
I look for you in every passing crowd
I never knew my heart could bleed this deep
You're in every single dream
I keep
Now you're gone
And all the light turns pale
Every word we spoke is just a fading tail
Standing right where we said goodbye
Watching gray clouds roll across the sky
Now you're gone but
I am staying here wishing
