I Never Knew

Back then
I didn't know how fast
Time would truly fly
Save the world, let a love
Just pass me by
Thought that you were just an endless
Tomorrow stretching far and wide
With a simple
I'm okay, I watched your
Nights just fly
The name
I couldn't call
As you turned your back to leave
Still sometimes echoes late
Within my heart
I grieve
Love remained
But the person had gone away
